Crate Hire / Purchase

Crate hire or purchase is not included in your quote. Please indicate if crates are required when submitting a quote.
Ensure you select the correct crate for your animal as airlines may refuse boarding if they consider the crate unsuitable.

Weight / Size Accuracy

You will also be responsible for any additional costs incurred due to extra weight and size, should they be approved for the flight. Providing us with accurate information is essential for us to provide you with an accurate quote.

Animal Size Guidelines

When considering the dimensions of your animal, take into account the length from its nose to the tip of its tail and add an additional 10cm for the crate length. Similarly, consider the height from the floor to the top of its head and add 10cm for the roof of the crate.

It is imperative that animals can stand, sit, lay, and turn around in a comfortable and natural position.

However, it is crucial to adhere to the airline’s requirements above all else.

Brachycephalic Breeds

Brachycephalic breeds, such as Pugs and Bulldogs, require agents at both the departure and destination ports. This additional service incurs an extra cost.

Animal Weight / Size Accuracy Information

To ensure a successful flight with your animal, it is crucial to have accurate measurements. Choose the correct crate size to avoid rejection for the flight. A refund will not be issued if you miss your flight due to an incorrect crate size. Please refer to our FAQ section under airline guidelines for clear instructions on measuring your animal for the appropriate crate size.

Generally, measuring from the tip of the nose to the stub of the tail (excluding the entire tail) determines the length, while measuring from the ground to the top of the head gives the height. Additionally, adding 10cm to both the length and height will provide the required dimensions for the crate. However, it is essential to prioritise compliance with airline regulations. For Brachy Breeds, selecting the next larger crate size is advisable.
